Matilda

Sunday 24th January 2021

Matilda is a play inspired by the beloved book by the incomparable Roald Dahl. The play tells the story of Matilda Wormwood, a gifted girl forced to put up with a crude, distant father and mother. Worse, Agatha Trunchbull, the evil principal at Matilda's school, is a terrifyingly strict bully. However, when Matilda realises she has the power of telekinesis, she begins to defend her friends from Trunchbull's wrath and fight back against her unkind parents.

Life of Barry

Saturday 9th Jan at 7 pm

Venue: The Arc, 39 Weston Dr, Caterham CR3 5XY

The Life of Barry, devised by the cast and scripted by Beth Wood, is thought-provoking, funny and uplifting. In true Prospero ensemble style it features a hugely colourful collection of characters including gold-diggers, devoted PAs and a vicar’s wife who is into burlesque, and incorporates signing, singing and utter chaos which can only be eradicated with a fair amount of audience cooperation.
