Beth Wood
Artistic Director
Before becoming Director of Prospero Beth was the Artistic Director of The Arc, Theatre Exchange and Thorndike Young People’s Theatre. She has directed in the West End and in regional theatres. Beth was a drama consultant for Surrey for eight years delivering work with young people and INSET work with teachers across Surrey, and the Outreach director at the Harlequin. In addition Beth writes the drama activities for Longman’s Shakespeare series and has written plays performed by 16 companies in 5 countries.

Tina Slaughter
Associate Director
Tina has assisted Beth at Friday Club at The Arc since 2015, supporting adults with profound and complex needs access and enjoy drama using drama games, devising and performance work. Tina has performed in 5 shows with the Friday Club. She has also appeared in Scars Upon My Heart and The Dali Project with Prospero Theatre and Bastards in the Black Hole and Rational Self Interest performed in various venues in London and Surrey as part of The Mental Health Festival. Tina is part of the Prospero Team delivering Mind Fitness workshops in schools, funded by Children in Need. She is passionate about arts and drama being inclusive and available to all.

Suzanna Rickman
DBS Co-ordinator
Suzanna started her performing career fronting rock band Geezerbird. Suzanna also has extensive acting experience. Originally hailing from the Gang Show tradition she has performed in numerous variety shows. She has also worked professionally in Theatre in Education touring all over London and the south of England. She is trained to provide Mind Fitness projects in schools and assists and performs regularly with Prospero’s inclusive Adults Drama Group. Suzanna believes in creativity to create wellbeing and fulfilment for all.

Rebecca Bush
Senior Manager & Wellbeing Coordinator
Rebecca is an artist and wellbeing professional with a passion for connecting others of all abilities with their creativity, in order to facilitate self-expression and creative confidence. Rebecca gained her Bronze & Silver Awards in Acting at LAMDA along with medals for poetry and prose, and has enjoyed colourful experiences such as roles as a French Fairy in Panto, and Scarlett O’Hara during a WWII Review. With Prospero Theatre Rebecca has enjoyed reconnecting with this passion, performing with Friday Club while delivering the therapeutic art sessions in the afternoon each week. These creative activities are designed to support both personal and group development, while observing the theme of the annual performance. The arts as an ‘inclusive vehicle for wellbeing’ is a subject that Rebecca never tires of exploring!

Margot Cadic
Community Liaison Officer
Margot joined Prospero Theatre in 2020 as Community Liaison Officer, serving as a point of contact between us and our fellow community partners. Margot organises the Creative and Wellbeing Hub, an initiative that develops creative activities and mental health support to help maintain the wellbeing of our community members. Before joining Prospero, Margot completed an Acting Diploma at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
