Fundraising Events

Most of Prospero’s funding is for specific projects. Our fundraising activities are therefore enormously important in funding the day to day expenses , the venue hire, insurance, training and development. If you are able to organise a fundraising event for Prospero or you have a good idea, please do get in touch.

Easy Fundraising

Support Prospero with Easy Fundraising
Easy Fundraising allows you to support your favourite charity when you shop online, at no extra cost to you.
Unlike many kinds of fundraising it does not cost you time or money. When you are signed in and you buy something from one of the 3200 registered retailers (including Amazon and Ebay) Prospero will receive a donation. How much we receive depends on the retailer and how much you have spent.
You can support Prospero here.

Golden Giving
Following Tina’s wonderful run in last year’s London Marathon we are thrilled to have Prospero member Andrew Simpson running for us in the 2020 Brighton Marathon . Any support for Andrew you are able to give will go towards the work of Prospero’s Friday club for adults with disabilities.

Co-op Local Causes
In 2019 Co-op delivered £17m* to over 4,000 local causes, thanks to our members.

When Co-op members shop with us, 1% of what they spend on selected Co-op branded products and services goes to support local causes through our Local Community Fund. Members can choose a local cause that they want their 1%** to support.
